Spring Break

Isn't it amazing how many people go out of town for spring break? The traffic slows down and showings are a piece of cake. Lexington is also a great town, at least some neighborhoods are, as two showings today they left the car door unlocked so we could use the garage door opener, and left a garage door opener for me to use to get in on the porch. Try that in NYC or LA. Anyway I have noticed the activity is increasing, the good neoghborhoods the prices are staying strong, and foreclosures, while still many, are in much better condition. Maybe this is a good trend. Also how low an the mortgage ates go? 4.675% CRAZY.......

Get on with it

OK Calipari is going to be our new coach, OK, we think, but we still have houses to sell. I am slammed lately with people looking and listing, hopefully this will continue. This time of year usually fluctuates with the weather, here in KY it changes three of four times a day, and this years with the exception of a 1 week stretch it has been pretty nasty. Tomorrow is April 1st I think it will be out of the gates so to speak from here out. There is a lot of pent up demand out there for buyers, and affordability is the best maybe ever. Here we go, I hope. Don't pay attention to the national headlines, find out what is happening in our area, your neighborhood, your street, that is the most importatn thing. Trust me financing is still available, really cheap rates too...I just had a two buyers get a 4.675% rate on a $400,000 + loan, and a 4.75% loan on a oan less than 100k. It's out there if you are qualified. I don't do loans of course, I sell houses, but I am tired of everyone hearing that you cannot get a loan....
